About The Event

The Sussex Guild are delighted to be exhibiting in Henfield for  the second time. Our Contemporary Craft Show will take place in the main  hall, foyer and garden suite of the newly refurbished Henfield Hall.  Homemade refreshments will be available throughout the day with seating  inside and in the garden area.

Be inspired by the designer makers  who will be showing exciting examples of ceramics, furniture, glass,  knitwear, jewellery, metalwork, textiles and woodwork. One of the Guild  members who will be displaying her exquisite pewter and glass work is  Fleur Grenier MA. Fleur’s organic designs range from one-off sculptural  pieces which are part of her “home theme” to tableware, desk clocks and  vases. All her designs are highly individual in style, and some of them  use other materials in conjunction with pewter such as wood, slate or  glass. Importantly, Fleur uses only lead-free pewter in her work, with  the result that pieces stay shiny and do not go grey with time as old  pewter does. Come to see Fleur, the other exhibitors and their work at  our Henfield event where you are able to buy or commission your own work  of art.

The Henfield Hall together with the Museum, is located at  the heart of the village, off the High Street, behind Budgens. There is  an adjacent car park. The Cafes and pubs are a short distance away  together with another car park at the Library. On Saturdays the No. 17  bus runs between Brighton and Horsham. The show will be well signposted  with AA road signs directing drivers to the Henfield Hall. There is easy  wheelchair access throughout. It is 12 miles north west of Brighton on  the A281.

Henfield is as lovely a small town as you could ever  wish to visit. There are fine houses, easy parking and a comfortable  pace of life that reminds you just how hectic most places are these days.
