The new season is upon us and our first show of the year at Horsham.

Hello lovelies and welcome to the latest update of life in Stitch'n'Shenanigans land, It has been incredibly busy in the workshop with lots of new creatures ambling in from the secret garden requesting new clothes and help with finding new adoptive parents.

First of all may introduce to you Jessica and Josh Mouse there was a hint of Jessica Mouse with the last blog update therefore without further ado may I introduce to you taaaaataaaaadaaaaaa.

MISS JESSICA MOUSE

As you can see Jessica is a very studious mouse and loves to read especially her favourite Milly Molly Mandy as of late she can be found reading with her younger brother Josh Mouse, The picture below was taken as the pair of siblings were discussing the antics of Milly Molly Mandy.

With our first show of the year with the Sussex Guild at Horsham fast approaching, it seemed like only yesterday that we were getting ready for Stitch'n'Shenanigans very first appearance at the same venue, now a year down the line with numerous shows and with many creatures having found their adoptive homes we're slowly becoming established.

Therefore with the 6th of April fast approaching it was all hands to the pumps to get the Stitch'n'Shenanigans stand dusted down ready for a revamp for the new year’s season of shows before getting all the playful and boisterous creatures corralled ready to escort them aboard the Stitch'n'Shenanigans charabanc for the journey to Horsham.

This proved to be a very good natured affair with everyone being incredibly well behaved and excited to be meeting the public, there are lots of new additions to the Stitch'n'Shenanigans family who were initially calmed by Brenna Badger before being whipped up it a noisy sing song for the journey by Chloe and Claude our latest large hare additions who came to us from a long line of performing Hares.

With not too much fuss and bother the stand was soon assembled and all the creatures were sat comfortably in their various nooks and cranny’s ready for the doors to open.

As 10AM approached all the Guild members were making their final adjustments to their displays ready for the doors to open and the first members of public to be welcomed in, we soon greeted many new lovely peeps as well as many returning friends to the Stitch'n'Shenanigans stand.

On display was a cheerful bunch of new additions such as Scruffit the dog and Jack hare both of who bonded with new adoptive parents it was also farewell to Freddie who was adopted by a lovely lady.

We had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful young man who was accompanied by his mother and grandmother this young chap now has a Stitch'n'Shenanigans small bird forming part of a display in his bedroom. We also bade farewell to Morwenna Hare and Samuel Mouse as well as Forbes fox.

Making her first appearance was Jinty the Dachshund who had to be coaxed onto the stand as she had been playing in the nearby park but try as we might we could not calm her down enough to tidy her up to which we presented a very windswept Jinty.
